With over three decades of experience in international education, I bring a global perspective and a student-first mindset to every part of my work.

From Japan to Belgium to Singapore, I’ve been privileged to work with diverse international school communities. Most recently, I served as the founding Head of University Counselling at St. Joseph’s Institution International in Singapore from 2008 to 2025. There I built a comprehensive, personalised university counselling program from the ground up, growing a part-time solo practice into a robust department of four full-time counsellors, always keeping students at the core. I continue to be based in Singapore.

Alongside my school-based work, I co-founded and led the Global University Counselor Connect (GUCC) conference and have played an active role in developing the counselling community in Singapore and across the region. I currently serve on the Professional Development Committee of the International Association for College Admission Counseling (International ACAC) and have presented at numerous International ACAC, CIS-EARCOS, and IB conferences. Being named International ACAC’s 2025 Member of the Year remains a deeply meaningful honor. I am a member of International ACAC and the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA).

Whether supporting a school in designing a university counselling program or guiding a student through future study decisions, I bring a calm, strategic, and empathetic presence to the work. Every student and every school is on a unique journey; my role is to help bring clarity and confidence to that journey.
