  • Awarded at the 2025 Annual Conference in recognition of sustained service to the profession, particularly through building and supporting regional networks.

Founder & Co-Lead, Global University Counsellor Connect (GUCC), Southeast Asia (2015–2025)

  • Conceived, launched, and led GUCC, an annual professional development conference for 100 to 150 school based university counsellors in Asia.

  • Grew the event into one of the region’s most respected peer-led platforms for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and community-building.

Head of University Counselling | 2008 – 2025

  • Pioneered and scaled the University Counselling programme from a part-time role to a team of four full-time counsellors, demonstrating comprehensive program development and management.

  • Directly worked with or oversaw the university counselling and placement of over 2600 students. 

  • Cultivated and maintained strong relationships with university admissions teams across North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia, enhancing SJI International's visibility and student admission opportunities.

  • Orchestrated and managed the annual process of educating students, parents, and teachers on global university systems, application procedures, and scholarship opportunities.

  • Spearheaded and managed the comprehensive WASC accreditation process for the school, successfully coordinating multiple stakeholders and ensuring timely completion.
